One Flower Wednesdays

I decided to do some petal preparation last night ...

... so that today I can share two more hexie flowers.

These two bring my total to 32 and I think I've decided on a layout. Will share a pic when I have another play with them.

Colourful Fridays ~ 2 Days Late!

Finally found my way around adding these pics. The top is a collection from around my home. I did have more but think it may have been too much to upload.
The below group were taken yesterday at the inaugural Garden Expo for our little town.
Robyn has a link on her blog to all those participating blogs. Next Friday is 'REDS'

This Will Have To Do!

For some reason unknown to me, I can't upload my collage of yellows tonight for Robyn's Colourful Friday. I know ... I'm a day late already so I'll be 2 days late if I succeed tomorrow.

In the mean time, here's another scarf and my first finish for September OPAM. Other projects are on the go as well so maybe you'll see them here for October.

I'm happy to report that I can atleast keep up with One Flower Wednesday although once again my posting of those is a tad late. Seems to be 'par for the course' for me at the moment.

The hexie above is for last week and below is the hexie I managed for this week.

I do hope everyone is managing some finishes and enjoying their weekend. Hopefully I can share my yellows tomorrow.

Colourful Fridays

Robyn of Daisy Quilts has invited one and all to play with colours.

It's called 'Colourful Fridays' and today's colour is YELLOW. Visit Robyn to see all the lovely yellow things she found to share. I'm running behind but hope to post some yellow sunshine tomorrow along with a finish for September and some hexie flowers.

Stay-at-Home Robin Update

Finally got a chance today to bring out my Stay-at-Home Robin blocks ready for step 3.

Step 3 was a 10"x3" strip joined either above or below the previous blocks. I have no thought of where either of these are going, they just develop each month as I dip into my scraps.

I've even had a little time for strolling in the garden. Here's some lovely 'red' blossoms.

Friday Sewing and a Giveaway

Wintery cold weather made a return yesterday so it was nice to rug up last night for Friday Night Sew-In.

My sewing involved these items below and is still a work in progress.

What did or will you work on?

This morning I found my way over to Sarah's where she is sharing some 'From Little Things' in a giveaway.

Head over and say hello ... isn't it sweet?

Don't forget that it's time again this week for Friday Night Sew-In. I have lots of things to choose from.
Also managed another flower this week but will hold off posting it till next week.

One Flower Wednesday ... on Wednesday

This morning I enjoyed some lovely time with our little group, the MPQuilters. Then it was time to dash home, put the work clothes on and head up to the cattle yards.

I did manage one flower for today.

Now it's time for a little TV, "Farmer Wants A Wife" tonight, and then catch up on some zzzzzzz's.

Hope you get to spend some time in your garden today.

O.F.W. Spring Fever

To celebrate the first day of spring I got myself into gardening mode and managed not 1 but 2 hexies this Wednesday. My roses are also springing into bloom.

The first hexie is with my 'Peter Frankenfeld' rose.

'Just Joey' is sharing the sunlight with my second hexie.

'Blue Moon' also has a bloom soaking up the warm spring air. My white 'Iceberg' was out a few days earlier but has gone past being nice for a photo.
