Friday Night Sew-in Results

Does anyone else have the same mystery as me? I stitch and stitch with not a lot of progress to share. I did manage to join 2 rows of flowers and started a 3rd row.

I’m not sure if there’s a right or wrong way to go about joining the flowers … this is how I’ve been stitching them.

First I joined two green hexies to each flower … then joined each flower into a vertical row … next I’ll stitch each row together … finishing by adding a row of green hexies around the outside.

I’d love to know any other ways of sewing them together. This top should be approx. 40 inches at the widest. Maybe some more stitches tonight.

When I joined my hexie flowers I made the first row and then just added them one by one. Yours seems like an efficient way of joining them and they will be done before you know it.

You must be feeding your garden well because it's growing nicely! FNSI helps lots of projects. Well done.
