One Xmas Item A Month

Todays the day ... the 25th ... the day we can share what we've made to get a head start on Christmas.

Firstly I'd like to say a BIG THANKYOU to all the wonderful ladies who have joined our merry group. I was pleasantly surprised that so many were thinking like me ... in need of making an early start on items for Christmas 2011. Whether making something for ourselves or for gifts, lets share with, and encourage each other along the way.

My January item is a little something for me! This cute wreath designed by Vicki Tucek which I found printed in 'Handmade - Christmas Special'.

Now safetly tucked away with the other decorations ready to be displayed when the time comes.

If you have your 'One Xmas Item' to share please leave a comment on this post so we can go visiting.
Remember nothing is "a must" in this group ... no deadlines ... if you're not ready for January then there is always February.

If you haven't joined yet and would like to please do ... just leave a comment on this post.

Happy Sewing

Cheryll I saw your beautiful tablerunner @ Myra's PhD Challenge blog (I'm doing the challenge as well) - it's gorgeous - congratulations on getting it finished :)

So far this month I've made several small gifts - I'm really happy with my beaded book thongs (http://tinyurl.com/64exms6) and kiddy wallets (http://tinyurl.com/628kzag) :) Lots more projects planned!

Narelle I like your little wreath - I love embroidery but haven't mastered the technique! (Sorry, I hit enter too soon in my previous comment)

I have finished my first project too - not very Christmassy (I did use some red!) but it will be a gift for someone. Thanks for the motivation.

I love your wreath - I didn't realize that the item could be for ourselves! What a treat - I love that idea! I managed to finish two of the purses on my long list of purses and totes as gifts. Thank you for the motivation! :)
